Maddy Sanchez is a second year student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, working on her degree in Translation and Localization Management. Prior to the Institute, Maddy worked as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan for four years after graduating with a Bachelors in Japanese Studies from Middlebury College.
In LocReady, Maddy is responsible for the LinkedIn page and social media engagement. She is excited to work with the team to bring more brand awareness to LocReady.
Ben Mendelsohn
Ben Mendelsohn is a 2nd Year TLM student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. He has studied Japanese since 2010, and received a bachelors in Japanese Studies from Willamette University in 2018. He has also worked as a freelance translator for two years and counting. He is primarily in charge of managing and delivering interviews for LocReady, and also has some responsibility over the youtube channel.
Lindsay Vail
Lindsay Vail is second year student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in Translation and Localization Management. With more than 7 years of studying the language, her language pair is Japanese and English. She earned her bachelor’s degree at University of California, Santa Barbara in Japanese Language and Culture Studies, with a theater minor.
Her career interests include games and software localization, and she aspires to pursue a career as a localization project manager in one of those fields. Lindsay’s primary role on the LocReady team is updating and maintaining the website. She is eager to help LocReady continue to provide resources for those aspiring to a career in the localization industry!
